Wow - this takes me back in time. Relayer tour was my first ever concert at Newcastle City Hall. Followed a couple of weeks later by The Lamb tour at the same venue. Huge thank you to my brother for introducing me to such musical talent. Although I have developed a liking of many musical genres over the years, can't progress (pun intended) beyond Prog as being the absolute best 😁

The amount of absolute train wrecks in these performances is astounding for a band of Yes standards. It’s pretty loose. 😮

I saw this show on June 16, 1976 at Nassau Coliseum and then listened on WNEW radio the next night to the show at Roosevelt Stadium. Incredible shows!

I didn't know they mashed up Tempus Fugit (from the Drama album!) and Sound Chaser with The Fish, what a pleasant surprise.

Amazing finding this, just disappointed that it's not film, worked spots on the euro part of this tour. Last minute gig offered to me, couldn't say no as at the time it was my favourite band of the time. Working spots up on scaffolding got really hairy for the last 3 numbers (encore) loads of punters hanging off of the scaffolding, really kicking.

Jon s harmonies on you by my side are really beautiful. It d have been really cool to have more Chris vocal lead tunes with Jon doing harmonies, that would ve been a listen worth hearing.

The sound quality is brilliant. Shame no vid but this is really nice ❤ Final Eyes and I’m Running are up there with my all-time fave Yes songs 😊

Does anyone remember if they did thus show In Nashville Tennessee I remembered the drums looked like a spaceship and thier costumes included cloven hoofs At the end of the second encore Anderson said he hoped we were all homeless. I had been hanging backstage and they said Anderson was drunk before the show..Steve didn't want that second encore😅they were all so good on thier instruments ❤

I just happened upon this. I skimmed through the comments and see people writing about seeing shows on this tour. I was there at the August 17, 1976 show at Cobo Arena in Detroit. The live album Yesshows included the recordings of The Gates of Delirium and Ritual from that concert. When the album came out, I read that in the credits, dug out the ticket stub I still had, checked the date (because they played another show in Detroit after this one, Tuesday and Thursday if I remember right), saw it was the show, and taped the stub to the inside gatefold of the cover. It was a fantastic concert, still maybe the best one of my life (and I'm an old fart in my sixties, that show was just about a month before I started college). By the way, small informational note. I often see people mistakenly referring to the venue as "Cobo Hall". That's wrong. It's all different now (I have not been in Detroit much in a long time), but back then, Cobo Arena, a large cylindrical shape building, was the big arena used for big concerts in Detroit. Cobo Hall was right next to it, a plain rectangular empty box that was an exhibit hall, the kind of place used for car shows, trade shows, that sort of thing.

The worm ending of Starship Trooper keeps them RIVITED to their seats every time.

I saw the Topographic Oceans tour but noone I have heard write about it on RUclips or any of the videos look anything like what I saw, White was in a large giant crab and Wakeman was was a giant clam shell, or maybe it was reversed, the setting was awesome, but I've never seen anything like what I saw, don't think Cleveland got to see something noone else saw, but I have no idea why my concert was so different.

I really like how And You And I sounds here, Trevor nailed that one (and tbh, the rest are good renditions as well), in my opinion. Considering all the difficulties that fulfilling Jon's role have, he did a great job with Yes, hats off to him. Also, great to know that they played Video Killed The Radio Star, more or less, in that tour too.
